Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix milk, sugar and instant dry yeast together.
  2. Add in bread flour, salt and egg. Mix until the mixture comes together.
  3. Then knead using your hand for 5 minutes before transferring the dough onto a flat working surface.
  4. Knead unsalted butter into the dough until incorporated and knead for another 15 minutes until smooth.
  5.  Place into a bowl and cover with cling wrap. Put aside and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. After that, punch the dough to let out the air bubbles. Transfer onto flat working surface and knead for about 2 minutes.
  7. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, rolling them nicely into a ball.
  8. Place them on a lined baking tray and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat your oven to 180°C, then bake the bread dough at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  10. In the meantime, cream the cream cheese and sugar  together in a bowl until well-combined.
  11. Then add in whipping cream and whisk until a smooth consistency. Pour mixture into piping bag and set aside.
  12. In another bowl, whisk melt unsalted butter, minced garlic, condensed milk, egg, honey and parsley together until well-combined.
  13. Once the bread are ready, remain on the tray and let them cool down a bit until able to handle.
  14. Slice the bread into 6 quarters (do not slice all the way).
  15. Pipe the cream cheese filling into between the gaps of the bread then drizzle generous amount of the garlic butter sauce on top.
  16. Bake at 160°C for 10 minutes.
  17. And they’re done. Enjoy!
