- 1 cup dhal (soak for 4 hours)
- 250gm minced chicken
- 6 green chillies, finely sliced
- 1/4 ginger, finely sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 4 stalks curry leaves, finely sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp salt

Method
- In a blender, blend the cinnamon stick, chopped garlic, sliced ginger, sliced green chillies and fennel seeds.
- Once those ingredients are blend together properly, add in the soaked dhal and continue to blend until a coarse paste is formed.
- Then transfer the mixture into a bowl and add in the chopped onions, coriander leaves and curry leaves, minced chicken and salt and mix all the ingredients together.
- When it’s well combined, take a small portion to form into a patty. The amount of patties formed will depends on the portion to take to form a patty.
- After forming all the patties, set them aside and pre-heat a pan with oil enough to fry them.
- Fry the patties in small batches until they’re golden brown. When they’re done, place them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
- Let it cool for a few minutes and they’re ready to be enjoyed!
