Advantages of Super High-Efficiency INFINITY

Fast and Continuous Hot Water Flow

Water is not stored but enters inlet pipe and gets heated via a direct fired heat exchanger only when hot water is required, generating an instantaneous and unlimited flow of hot water.

Compared to a Standard Tank: During times of heavy usage, a traditional storage tank water can be depleted, causing delays in hot water supply.

Save Energy and Running Costs

Rinnai tankless system heats water only when it is needed, sensing the demand no matter how many appliances are in use at the same time, turns off when it is not in use, resulting in less wasted energy, and saving significantly on your energy bills.

How INFINITY Continuous Flow Hot Water Works

Hot Water Demand

When there is demand of hot water by turning on a shower, washing machine, dishwasher or faucet, cold water flows into the Rinnai INFINITY Water Heater from the inlet pipe at the bottom of the heater.

Flame Is Ignited

The flame is ignited and heats the two heat exchangers that are included in the Super High Efficiency models.

Water Is Preheated

Water is preheated as it passes through a stainless-steel heat exchanger, capturing any extra heat (or latent heat) before it escapes into the vent system.

Passing Heat Exchanger

Water continues to be heated as it passes through the heat exchanger, and exits from the hot water outlet pipe to travel through the pipes of the home to the water fixture where hot water is needed.

Adjust Flame Output

The tankless water heater will adjust flame output as needed to ensure the temperature set point is maintained.

Hot Water Shuts Off

As the hot water fixture shuts off, cold water stops flowing into the tankless water heater and the flame extinguishes. The tankless water heater is now off until the next time hot water is needed!

Rinnai Advanced Hot Water Systems

Rinnai Tank-less Gas Water Heater Systems are in better demand these days due to its energy efficiency and space saving advantage. Commercial water heating demands higher flow rates than a single Rinnai INFINITY unit can provide at any one time, this is where our advanced hot water systems come into place. The Rinnai INFINITY gas water heater can be designed into a varied of hot water system solutions according to the demand, internal piping designs, and buildup of a vicinity. Our advanced systems include Manifolds Pack, Demand Duo, as well as Hybrid Hot Water System that combines with solar energy.

Manifold Pack

Rinnai Manifold Pack consists of a minimum of 2 INFINITY heavy duty water heaters plumbed together. It is designed as a staging system, so that only the required number of heaters start to match the desired hot water flow rate. Designed specially to compliment the Rinnai INFINITY heavy duty, the PAM (Pressure Activated Manifold) Valve System ensures that the units ignite in sequence, as the valve cannot open at flows less than required to operate one water heater. When it comes to installation considerations, Rinnai Manifold Pack hot water system can save up to 70% of space as compared to a boiler system used by many commercial operations.

Suitable applications: Manufacturing plants, processing industries, convention centers, hotels, hostels, commercial kitchens, commercial laundries, gyms, malls, cafes and restaurants.

Demand Duo

Rinnai Demand Duo combines between 1 to 6 INFINITY heavy duty water heaters with a storage tank that allows a short period of high hot water flow rate, and you will get greater results of the Manifold Pack. Demand Duo is a complete packaged storage hot water system made up of one or more heavy duty water heaters with a manifold system, primary pumps, thermostat and a stainless-steel tank that holds 250 to 315 litres (or 1,000 litres, depends on situation) of hot water per system. Installations of this type typically have a predictable hot water volume, usually based on a high peak volume of people living in a particular building either showering, washing or eating, or industrial machines that require regular peaks of water. Rinnai Demand Duo systems can also be used instead of the Manifold Pack for projects where limited gas supply is available.
